Brief History: The Wyoming Baptist Church was founded in 1882. John Tangaman, a Lockland, Ohio paper mill owner paid $2,925 for the Burns Avenue site. Cincinnati architect, Albert C. Nash, designed the Victorian Gothic building with a slate roof and a beautiful stained glass window featuring a Star of David.
Albert C. Nash designed many other prominent buildings in and around the Cincinnati area.
Twenty-five members from Lockland Baptist Church became our founding members. Over the years the church has grown in vision and mission to bring the Good News of the Gospel to the whole world.
The Education Building was built in 1990 and has seven classrooms and a fellowship hall.
